Having completed his Degree in Law at the University of Colombo, and taken oaths as an Attorney-at-Law, Dilith opted to pursue a career in the more adventurous field of advertising, where his grass root insights led to the creation of industry benchmarking ‘Big Ideas’. A natural motivator, who holds an MBA from the University of Wales, Dilith’s knowledge, passion and entrepreneurship formed a bedrock for one of the most dynamic Groups of Companies in this country.

Varuni Amunugama Fernando

Joint Managing Director & Creative Head

An Attorney-at-Law and LLB graduate from the Faculty of Law, University of Colombo, Varuni counts 18 years hands on experience in the advertising industry as the Founder, Co-share Holder and Joint Managing Director of Triad. The holder of a Diploma in Advertising from L’Ecole-de-Publicitaire, Paris, Varuni spent her formative years in advertising at Phoenix Advertising. She is currently the Head of Creative and overall ‘people person’ at the Agency.

Sarva Amarasekere

Chief Operating Officer

Qualified in both Business and Engineering, Sarva holds a Masters in Engineering Management from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles and a Degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Having spent most of his early career in Business Consulting and Fund Management both locally and internationally, Sarva followed his calling into advertising.

Michael Holsinger

Executive Director

Responsible for all the strategic planning at Triad, Michael has over 17 years of experience in the advertising industry and has worked at JWT and Leo Burnett, and also as the CEO of LOWE LDB. During his illustrious long tenure in advertising, he has handled many local and multinational clients and brands and been exposed to all aspects of the advertising industry.

Udaya Tennakoon

Executive Creative Director

Responsible for the overall creative output of the Agency, Udaya has over 17 years experience in the advertising industry and has worked in agencies such as JWT, LOWE LDB, Grant McCann Erickson and Leo Burnett. Over the years Udaya has handled a range of multi national and local brands. Blessed with imagination and creativity, Udaya’s many talents have also enabled him to be an effective journalist and cinematographer over the course of his career.

Udeni Perera

Director Client Servicing

With over 17 years experience in advertising, Udeni joined Triad after having worked as a Group Brand Manager for Grant McCann Erickson and the Brand Custodian for Nestle Lanka Ltd. Throughout her impressive advertising career, Udeni has gained vast experience handling a variety of accounts. Udeni is well qualified in the field of Marketing and is presently reading for an MBA.

Ashika Karunathilake

Head of Finance

The Financial Guru of Triad Advertising, Ashika comes from a strong Accounting background, learning her trade as an Audit Trainee at KPMG Ford Rhodes & Thornton. It was in 1998 that Ashika decided to move into the world of Advertising, joining the Triad Team as an Accounts Executive. Here, her creative ability to stretch the rupee, while running a tight ship, has seen her progress to Head of Finance & Administration.

Shamila Suhaib

Media Manager

As the Head of Triad Media, Shamila has over 10 years experience in the field of advertising and is an expert in media strategy, planning, buying and scheduling. She has had the exposure to handling some of the largest media campaigns in the country. Shamila is qualified in Marketing and is ABE (UK) qualified.

Rilla Kamil

A/V Manager

Rilla began his foray into advertising as a Client Servicing Executive at Vista Advertising 12 years ago. Realising that his talents lay elsewhere, he moved into the Audio/Visual field, working at TNL, Bates Asia, VFX Production and later Grant McCann Erickson. It was then, in the year 2007 that Rilla joined the Triad Team, leading the Audio/Visual department in the capacity of A/V Manager.

Sumith Rodrigo

Studio Manager

Sumith has been in the adverting field for over 20 years. Having started his career as a commercial artist, Sumith is a veteran in his field having been a studio manager for over 12 years. His previous tenures include Q & E Advertising, Mel Ads and Phoenix Advertising.

Nihal Karunaratne

Manager, Triad Total

Nihal has been in the world of advertising for almost 2 decades, working in Production & Event Management. Beginning his career as a Production Executive at Zenith Advertising in 1991, he has since worked in production at Minds FCB and Janet Cosmetics, before joining the Triad Team in the year 2003; where he took over the production department – Triad Total.
