The foundation stone for the new People’s Bank complex, to be inaugurated at No.177/A, High Level Road, Nugegoda, was ceremonially laid recently. Picture shows Ven. Prof. Bellanwila Wimalaratne, Dean of Sri Jayawardenepura University, conducting religious observances to the gathering, including Prof. N.L.A. Karunaratne - Deputy Dean of Sri Jayawardenepura University, W. Karunajeewa – Chirman People’s Bank, H.S. Dharmasiri – Acting CEO/GM of People’s Bank and other management and staff of the bank together with local artists and customers.

Once established, the 3 story building complex is scheduled to house the People’s Bank Western Province II Office, the Colombo-Suburb Head Office as well as the Nugegoda Branch Office.
